BE A PART OF THE RIOULT DANCE Center by joining our WORK STUDY PROGRAM!

Application Period: Open
Term Dates: September 16, 2019 – February 15, 2020

February 16, 2020 – June 22, 2020 June 23, 2020 – September 16, 2020

Work Study Personnel are essential members of our organization, providing customer service and support for our daily programming.

-Applicants must be 18+

COMMITMENT

Participants are required to work a minimum of two 4-hour shifts per week for one full term.

BENEFITS

Work/Study participants receive:

-One free adult dance, fitness, or somatic class at the Center for every two hours worked

Work study may also be used to pay for:
-Upto50%ofRIOULT’sSummerandWinterIntensives

-Access to subsidized rehearsal space at the RIOULT Dance Center.

-Access to professional development opportunities offered at RIOULT Dance Center.

-Discounted Performances and Events

STANDARD SHIFT SCHEDULE

1 person needed per shift

Monday-Friday

8:00am-12pm

11:30am-3:30pm 3:00pm-7:00pm5:30-9:30pm

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

-Be knowledgeable of all Center programming and events

-Welcome and direct visitors, students, and renters

-Assist with adult class check-in

-Confirm participant count in adult classes

-Clean and organize supplies

-Complete regularly scheduled building walk-throughs and provide feedback to the

staff

-Provide general assistance to the Operations team

You are a great candidate for our Work Study Program if you:

-Have customer service experience and love talking to people

-Are adaptable, attentive and have great interpersonal skills

-Are seeking an affordable way to take class regularly

-Interested in working in the Queens community of dancers (from 18 months to adults of all ages)
