Casting 3 female modern dancers for an independent short film. The Black Magic Piano is a modern opera piece that tells its story through the original soundtrack, as well as the juxtaposition of film images and dance. The film follows the adventure of a young artist in love and his passions: the city, his work, music, love and ultimate isolation and rebirth. 

 

Dancers should be skilled technically and comfortable with improvisation. Professional performance and acting experience is a plus. Must be available for rehearsals and shooting in May and June. There is no pay for this project but dancers will receive credit and a dvd of the finished piece. There will also be future performance opportunities with the release of the film.
