Dancers for Gleich Dances in Rouses Point

 

Choreographer, Julia K. Gleich requires 4 dancers: two male. two female for 10-14 day project in upstate NY, July 15-28. (Start and end dates are slightly flexible)

Skills: ballet (strong pointe work), partnering, contemporary/modern dance, curiosity and a desire to experiment. Prior performance experience necessary.

Julia wIll be creating new work  and teaching for a unique program called Camp Pocket U(topia). In addition to doing class and rehearsing, you should be interested in other art forms and artists and have a sense of humor. There will be a showing, a site-specific performance, and the possibility of future performance in NYC.  

The project takes place in Rouses Point, NY on beautiful Lake Champlain. Transportation to Rouses Point will be provided, along with room and some meals. You will be hosted by families in the local community.  There will be a stipend.
