Matthew Westerby Company Audition

Matthew Westerby Company
seeks one male and one female dancer for performance and education projects for Fall 2010 and beyond, including a New York season in early 2011.

 

Seeking dancers with excellent modern/ballet technique, improvisational skills, partnering abilities and a willingness to contribute to the creative process. Must also have a strong interest/experience in art-in-education work. The position will include a residency period with public school students.

Paid rehearsal, performance and education work.

 

All ethnicities encouraged to apply.

Matthew Westerby teaches a weekly modern technique/repertory class at CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) near Union Square. Class will be an excellent introduction to the movement style and characteristics of the work of the Company.
