Evvie is a dancer and choreographer living in Sunnyside, Queens. Highly experimental with a strong classical background, she has shown original works at The Evergreen State College and the Eagle's Hall in Olympia, WA, and Palmetto A.I.R. in Brooklyn, NY, as well as site-specific works in both cities. Evvie has been a recipient of a Florida Dance Festival scholarship and, most recently, American Dance Festival's 2010 Young Artists Scholarship.
"Evvie is one of the most gifted dancers I have met in four decades of international professional work as an artist and teacher... I believe that she will become a choreographer who will make meaningful contributions to our world."
