LEVYdance Comapany Audition for Male and Female Dancers for 2011/12 National Tour

 
LEVYdance, founded in 2002 by Artistic Director Benjamin Levy, is a San Francisco based contemporary dance company with a strongly recognized presence both in the Bay Area and nationally.  LEVYdance tours internationally and regularly collaborates with highly distinguished artists from many disciplines.
We are currently seeking professional skilled dancers, both male and female, for long-term Company Artist positions for the 2011-2012 touring season.  Applicants should have a strong foundation in both ballet and contemporary techniques, as well as a distinctly personal style and aesthetic.  Individuals will be asked to work in a highly collaborative environment and must be open to bringing themselves personally to the choreographic process.
 
Artist must be ready to work on June 20, 2011. International dancers must be prepared to present a valid work permit for consideration. Dancers will be paid for rehearsals and performances. Visit the LEVYdance Youtube channel to view repertory clips: http://www.youtube.com/levydance
