10 Volunteer Dancers Needed for Short Research Period

Allora & Calzadilla, the artist duo representing the US at the Venice Biennale, is looking for 11 volunteer dancers who can rehearse during a short research period for the development of a work that will premiere in the 11 Rooms exhibition at the Manchester International Festival in July. The work will incorporate simple movement:  marching, rockette kick lines, and human barricades.  There is no pay but dancers will be publicly acknowledged in the wall text at the museum and all may, of course, add the experience to their CV.  The artists are collaborating with choreographer Rebecca Davis, who will run the rehearsals.

Rehearsal times are below.  Please contact Rebecca if you are interested
