DNA's RAW Directions Program

2011-2012 RAW Directions 

Call For Proposals!

 

The 2011-2012 RAW Directions program will support the work of five emerging and mid-career choreographers with more than ten years of professional choreographic experience who wish to bring new projects to a live audience, to experiment with new ways of crafting their work and to learn from/share with their peers in a supportive workshop environment. Dance New Amsterdam will provide:

 

• An artistic consultant designated by Dance New Amsterdam

• Full marketing and production support 

• An artist stipend divided into a small commissioning fee and a performance fee

• Discounted rehearsal space and 10 hours of free space  

• Four group workshops with the selected artists and the group’s artistic consultant

• Three performances of new 15-minute works in DNA’s theater
