Ella Rosewood Dance seeks male and female dancers for the creation of a new evening-length piece. Dancers must be able to commit to a 6 hour/week rehearsal schedule which includes company class. Rehearsals begin the 2nd week of November.

The company is specifically seeking modern dancers who thrive on combining technique & artistry; imagination & performance; and rhythm & space. Dancers should be willing to take risks to create movement art and see themselves as lifelong learners and advocates in and for the dance field. Experience and appreciation for education is also a plus.

Dancers must be available December 10, 2011 for a performance at St. Mark’s Church as part of Danspace DraftWorks Series and February 12, 2012 for a showing at Green Space. Performance dates for the completed piece TBD.

1:30-3:30pm
Check in begins at 1pm
