Racoco/Rx, an interdisciplinary movement-theater company, is seeking performers to join its ensemble for multiple projects and performances. Rachel Cohen, dir.-choreo. Rehearsals begin in Dec.; performances begin in 2012. Most rehearsals and performances are in the NYC area but some touring may be required. Some pay.

Seeking—Performers: male and female, 18+, all ethnicities, dance or strong movement background required, some form of theater experience required (acting, clowning, miming, etc.), visual art experience/interest, musical training, and sense of humor helpful, no speaking roles but there may be occasional vocalization. Note: Minimum six-month commitment required. Work incorporates tactile exploration of clay, wood, gum, and other materials, and references a variety of styles. Performers will learn existing repertory and be involved in creation of new work.
