Spark seeking Male Dancers
Spark Movement Collective (Spark) is seeking well-rounded, athletic male dancers with a background in modern and/or ballet for its upcoming 2012 Season. Spark is looking for dancers with strong stage presence and the ability to give creative input while picking up steps quickly. To apply for an audition please email your resume, headshot, and dance footage links to Chelsea Koenig at sparkmovementcollective@gmail.com.
Spark's season will include indoor and outdoor site-specific works and a weekend of performances at University Settlement’s Speyer Hall in April 2012. Spark has a commitment to collaborating with artists of all disciplines and will work with multiple visual artists, musicians, and multi-media designers for its upcoming season. Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:00pm.
Spark's mission is to create an accessible dance experience by approaching universal concepts and issues, working with multi-disciplinary artists, and fostering a positive creative environment for dancers. To learn more about Spark visit www.sparkmovementcollective.org.
At this point in time Spark is unable to offer payment to dancers with the exception of several small projects. It’s Board of Directors is actively working on changing that.
