Gin Dance Company (GDC) is a contemporary repertory dance company based in the Northern Virginia/DC Metropolitan area. GDC was formed in May, 2011. We are very excited for our first season and are seeking both male and female artists who have a wonderful talent and passion for dance/performing arts.

Audition will include a full ballet technique class and learning movement phrases from GDC’s current repertory. Finalists will be interviewed following the audition.

There are no audition fees.

Please bring the following to the audition: Resume (must include email and phone number) and a headshot.

We are looking for the dancers who have a strong background in ballet and modern technique along with performance experience. Professional experience is preferred but not required. Dancers must be able to rehearse at BalletNove Center for Dance on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on some weekends, as needed. At this time, dancers are compensated for GDC’s full evening productions only. Dancers must be U.S. citizens or have a valid work visa that allows him/her to work for at least two years to be considered.
