The Boston Contemporary Dance Festival brings a diverse array of contemporary dance artists together from around the U.S. to present their work in Boston. In 2012, contemporary dance leaders from across the United States will be presenting work.

The Call for Choreography is open through April 30, 2012! Benefits from participating in the Boston Contempo Dance Festival include: Exposure for your work to dance critics and the media in general, the opportunity to work with professional lighting designers and sound engineers, and the opportunity to work with professional videographers and photographers.

Performances will take place on Saturday, August 18, at 2pm and 7:30pm at the Boston University Dance Theater. Presenters will determine which pieces will be performed at which times. Choreographers will have the opportunity to tech their pieces after 6:30pm on either the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the festival date. All applications should be submitted by Monday, April 30; there is a $30 registration fee for each submission.
