Peridance's BLUEPRINT Intensive with Drew Jacoby and More!
There are two options to audition: 1. Email blueprint@peridance.com with a video link by May 31st. 2. Email blueprint@peridance.com to schedule a time to come into Peridance Capezio Center and take a class by May 31st that will count as audition.
BLUEPRINT Summer Intensive is taking place August 20th-September 1st.
Peridance Contemporary Dance Company and Drew Jacoby of Jacoby and Pronk will be considering BLUEPRINT students as apprentices for their companies, for the 2012 fall season.
In collaboration with dance icon Drew Jacoby, founder ofDancePulp.com, Peridance Capezio Center brings a newSummer Intensiveexperience to pre-professional Ballet and Contemporary dancers, ages 16-22.
Bridging the gap between conservatory ballet technique and the innovation of the current contemporary scene, BLUEPRINT brings dancers face to face with current influential dance educators and artists. Our mission is to expose students to the best in the business, helping them advance their dance career.
This Intensive is an exciting opportunity to polish technique, learn repertory from prestigious working choreographers, perform on a professional New York City stage and gain a fresh and unique edge!
Participating dancers will take daily Ballet and Contemporary technique classes followed by rehearsals of repertory ofPeridance Contemporary Dance Company, William Forsythe, Nacho Duato, Jacoby and Pronk, Christopher Wheeldon and Sidra Bell Dance New York.
