2012/13 BAXco Youth Dance Company Auditions

BAX is seeking teen dance artists with strong technique and a desire to join a unique pre-professional dance company. BAXco, BAX’s youth dance company, is a repertory company that performs work by vibrant choreographers who are active in the dance world. The company is directed by professional dancers, choreographers, and educators with decades of comprehensive experience in the dance field. These young dancers are exposed to many styles of modern dance through workshops, classes, and performances, and enjoy a multi-dimensional experience of the NYC dance scene.

Requirements and How to Audition
Company members are experienced dancers and must audition.
Company members are required to:
* Commit for the whole season (from October 1 – May 10)
* Take at least 2 dance classes per week (at BAX or outside of BAX) in addition to the weekly BAXco Company class and rehearsal

Interested dancers should call for an audition spot by Thursday, September 27 and be ready to dance!
