Audition for HeidiDance Company 09.29.2012 at DNA
We are looking for female and male dancers with strong modern and/or contemporary training. We have a showing coming up in January at Dance New Amsterdam and we need 4 to 6 skilled dancers to join us. Dancers who are able to commit for 2 to 4 rehearsals per week should apply. Must be over 21.
Rehearsals and DNA performance in January are unpaid. After this future gigs and travel are paid. Our company rehearsals are held on Sundays at DNA and during the weekdays we work in smaller groups. Take a look at our website HeidiDance.com for more information about our company.
Audition task
Watch this improvisation video and pick 30 seconds of choreo from it and learn it. You will dance the movement of your choosing in small groups with the other dancers. There will also be improvisation tasks. The audition will be filmed for grant purposes.
