Dance Audition (ages 9-13) for beginners, dancers, actors and singers

For Kids That Want To Perform…

Young Performers Dance Academy creates and supports young performers who have a desire and passion to be performers (Broadway, Theater, TV, Film, Concert Dance, Ballet, modern) to have the cutting-edge dance skills to get the job.

It is our mission to empower and create the healthiest and most successful young performers in NYC. We help them by delivering top-notch dance training, use tools to help them build their confidence, self-esteem, self-care, and deliver support they need to be able to succeed as a working artist.

We are currently holding auditions for students ages 9-13 for our private one-on-one cutting-edge dance training program delivered by working artists /dancers and Broadway Dancers.

If your child has been begging you to take them to auditions or they feel they need the dance training to become a triple threat and want to develop their dance skills in record time with confidence and top-notch training from professionals in the business then please read on…

This is for your child if …

–> He/she driven to be performers.
–> He/she is begging you to take him/her on auditions.
–> He/she wants private classes because he/she might feel self conscious about the competition and wants to work in a focused and loving environment to hone his/her skills.
–> He/she is acting and singing now and want to become a triple threat!
–> He/she wants to become a dancer.
–> He/she want to build his/her confidence and self-esteem to audition.

Here’s what to look for when hiring a dance teacher or picking out a dance school:

Find professional dancers.
–> A professional dancer that keeps dancing and is current with the industry.
–> Have students auditioning and performing professionally.
–> Doesn’t spend time focusing on fancy recitals and fancy costumes.
–> Focus is on technique.
–> The school offers different dance styles.
–> The school brings in a variety of professional guest teachers.
–> An environment that has positive, loving, supportive feedback that supports the building of the confidence and self-esteem.
Why our students get results…

It’s one-on-one training…so our children learn proper form to ensure that “good” habits are formed in their training right from the first class.

Our students do have solid ballet training as their foundation…while being exposed to other dance forms such as jazz, tap, modern, etc.

Our teachers have laser-sharp eyes to get young dancers working accurately in their bodies which shortens the learning curve (rather than creating “bad” habits).

Our students are hand-picked based off their drive, desire and passion to learn and become performers.

Our students learn the “dance lingo” so they can walk the walk and talk the talk without feeling unsure or unprepared at an audition.

All of our sessions are run by teachers that create a fun, loving, nurturing, positive and professional environment where confidence and self-esteem are built from day one.

All our teachers have danced nationally and internationally, as well as, on Broadway and with leading dance companies around the world.

They learn how to audition and get the job without having to be a ballerina.

They learn from world-class teaching artists that are in the business already.

All our students are given “at-home programs” to reenforce the training done in their one-on-one sessions so that they improve quickly. They are given customized stretches, core exercises and conditioning exercises to enhance their performance.

They are also given “practice routines” to prep them for auditions so they can develop the style of a particular dance or show.

Is this not for…

Children that aren’t passionate about the arts.
Parents that are pushing their children to be performers but the child isn’t self-motivated and lit up by being a performer.
Children that aren’t self-motivated and inspired.
Children that aren’t committed to their own growth and development as an artist and performer.
Parents that like to tell the teacher how to teach and what their child needs to be working on.
If this excites you and you are jumping at the bit to audition, then please contact us at info@YoungPerformersDance.com for the details on how your child can audition with us.

If this feels right for you…we can’t wait to speak with you and meet your child!
