Forty hand-selected students ages 16-24 are carefully chosen from around the United States for a unique hands-on Summer Contemporary Intensive in Boston, now in its second year. Students take six hours of classes Monday-Friday in Boston’s South End. Classes range from contempo modern, jazz, and ballet to hip-hop, partnering, choreography, leaps/turns, improvisation, and career counseling.

The program will culminate in a unique performance of rep learned during the program, as students perform in the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival.

Graduates of the program will be considered for a position in Urbanity's Apprentice Company, 2013-2014.
