NC Dance Theatre 1 and 2 Company auditions

 
NorthCarolina Dance Theatre is holding an open audition for male and female first and second company dancers in New York City onSaturday, January 19th at the School of American Ballet on 70 Lincoln Center Plaza.Registration is from 5:00-5:30pm and the audition is from 5:30-8:00pm.

North Carolina Dance Theatre is a Charlotte-based, world class repertory dance ensemble. It performs classic, contemporary and cutting-edge dance with virtuosity, energy, and artistic excellence for local, statewide and national audiences. Dance Theatre’s collective talents provide the opportunity and give us the responsibility to challenge, stimulate, educate, entertain, and thereby enrich our audiences.This audition is intended for classically trained dancers who have performing experience with a professional company.

On the day of the audition, applicants should bring:
A $20 audition fee (cash or check made payable to North Carolina Dance Theatre) Resume Headshot and full body dance photo Proper ballet attire required, including pointe shoes for women
