Seeking Assistant/Experienced Dancer

 

Launching new Rhythmic Body Conditioning classes in February 2013 and seeking one or two females/males with dance experience (any style). Ideally, the person will have some experience with dancing Latin, HipHop, Funk, Dancehall styles or a deep desire to learn, train in, and/or experiment with the basic rhythms of these styles.

Check out the website and videos, www.sylviacabral.com, showing the style/technique to see if this something you would be interested in pursuing. Auditions will be held January 30th (and possibly February 6th) by invite only.

Please review the following criteria before replying to this post:

Dance Experience: 6-8 years dance experience in any style, background in Latin, HipHop, Funk, Dancehall styles preferred but not required.

Teaching Experience: 1-2 years teaching experience preferred but not required.

Availability: Every Wednesday evenings from 6:15-9:30 to take classes and assist starting February 13th (You will be paid for your time in addition to taking/training in the two classes offered during these times).

Assisting Experience: 1-2 years assisting experience required (dance or office setting). Will be helping to manage the logistics around class attendance, payment processing, etc. (looking for someone with strong attention to detail).

Finally, and most importantly, looking for someone fun, very positive, upbeat, and a people person. Please do not reply if this does not describe you!
