Juniper theatre dance company is looking for performers for her new work to be presented at the Dumbo festival 2013.

The theme will be around relationships. Movement will be used in a theatrical way. The viewpoints methode will be used for the creation of this work. Be ready to possibly use your voice. 

1st act : The talk 
building movement on things we would like to say, that we never have said, or hard to say to people that are part of our environment (friends, family, partners, co-workers) Thinking of asking you to write a text about those thoughts, that you won't share, but use to construct the movement of your character !

2nd act : the dream
Transpose in movements how would be our ideal relationship with .... (any person your character decides) I Want to explore duets and ensemble work here.I want to illustrate to often our dreamed situation just keeps vanishing away or seems always to be far, no matter how much effort we make to seize this dream. But finally the dreamed situation might be closer then we think !

3rd act : The ideal
Explore in a playfull way and in movements the enconter of the ideal partner, for us. QUestion in movement the enconter of 2 people meeting for the first time who are really on the same plane.

Rehearsals

at Nancy Meehan studio all Thursdays of August , 1st, 8th, 15th, 21st, 29th from 6 pm to 8 pm .

at Gina Gibney on Mondays from 2 to 4 pm (5th-12th-19th and 26th of August) .

The Dumbo festival does not have fundings to support the artists at this time unfortunatly, but I will do my best to get fundings by other means.

This work will serve also a master research. The final product will be presented in Switzerland in 2014.
