Lydia Johnson Dance is seeking a highly musical and individual male dancer with strong ballet technique and partnering skills for contemporary work, including NYC Season at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, June 3-7, 2014. Competitive pay for project. Past male guest artists with LJD have included dancers from Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, New York City Ballet, Ballet X, Paul Taylor Dance Company, ODC/San Francisco, among others. LJD generally rehearses Tuesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons in NYC, with some flexibility in the schedule to allow for dancers involved in multiple projects.
