Male Dancers Audition - Lydia Johnson Dance
Lydia Johnson Dance is seeking a highly musical and individual male dancer with strong ballet technique and partnering skills for contemporary work, including NYC Season at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, June 3-7, 2014. Competitive pay for project. Past male guest artists with LJD have included dancers from Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, among others. LJD generally rehearses Tuesday, Friday and Sunday afternoons in NYC, with some flexibility in the schedule to allow for dancers involved in multiple projects.
Date:Sunday, February 9
Time: Studio open at 1pm; audition will start at 1:30pm
Location: Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet (355 Broadway, between Franklin St. and Leonard St.)
Registration: Interested dancers should submit a headshot and resume prior to audition to lydiajohnsondance.office@gmail.com
Please be prepared to learn repertory and some partnering, and please bring copies of headshot and resume to the audition.
