Wanted: Highly skilled Modern Dancers interested in dancing in a new musical: R/evolution
Casting "R/evolution", an original futuristic dance musical in which a person from our time is brought into a future world through DNA duplication. She discovers a people who practice hormonal and emotional control through the use of movement routines. Her lack of control inadvertently goes viral causing her and her handlers to be swept from the corporation. Non-equity.
Rehearsal and Production Dates: Rehearsals start April 27, 2015.
Performances: runs for 3 weeks, May 28 to June 14. Robert Moss Theater, New York City

AUDITION INFORMATION
Dancers: Dancing auditions will require strong Modern Dance technique. Dancers should bring sheet music of a song to sing, headshot and resume. Multi-ethnic casting desired. Some dancers will have acting parts and should be prepared to read sides provided at audition. Bring headshot and resume.
Dancers Audition: Tues (1/13/15) 7:00 pm. or Wed (1/14/15) 7:00 pm.

SUMMARY OF ROLES
Dancers (Chorus / Ensemble)
Males & Females, 22-40, All Ethnicities
Dancers – Extremely fit corporate workers, venture capitalists (VCs), and Psychothrobics Trainers. Movement is part of their lives in both fitness and hormonal/emotional control. Strong modern dancers and Jazz. Multi-ethnic casting. Singing needs to be on pitch and strong, only. Important small acting roles. No monologue -- be prepared to read sides after dancing audition.
