So, you've been busily choreographing throughout NACHMO and want a chance to show your work in front of an audience? Read on!

Want to show your work in a studio show at Gibney Dance Center on Feb 4, 5, 6, or 7?

These are informal but polished shows with a 7:00 curtain where you meet fellow participants and briefly interact with audience in a moderated Q and A.

Between January 1 and January 10, complete THIS FORM to enter into the studio show lottery. 

Up to 40 participants will be randomly selected. We’ll notify you on January 11 as to whether you were selected. If you’re selected, confirm your spot by paying your $10 studio show fee through a link in your acceptance email by January 15.

Want to show your work in a curated theater show at the Actors Fund Arts Center on Feb 27 or 28?

These are fully produced shows with 8:00 curtain. Tech rehearsal will be in the afternoon of your show night.

Pieces for the theater shows will be chosen from the studio shows. So start by getting yourself entered in the studio show lottery! HERE. 

Up to 10 participants will be selected to show their work in each theater show at the Actors Fund Arts Center on Feb 27 or 28. The selection will be made based on programmatic balance and variety. You’ll find out by February 16th whether you’ve been selected for the theater shows.

If you’re selected, confirm your spot by paying the $50 performance production fee through the link provided in your acceptance email. This fee includes professional photos taken during tech and professional video filmed during the show.

Want to show your work in a non-traditional space at Aviv Brooklyn on Feb 21?

Email us at info@nachmo.org and we’ll put you in touch with Eleanor Moore, who’s spearheading this event. We’re hoping the space will inspire site-specific work, so choreographers will have the opportunity to see photos and video of the space, and to visit the space during January.

There’s no fee for participation in this event.

Want to show your NACHMO dance film?

Email info@nachmo.org anytime before February 4th with the link to your video.

We’ll give you a NACHMO Film 2015 Vimeo channel username and password so you can upload your film.
We’ll also put your video in the gallery on our website.
