Carte Blanche Performance is Looking for 17 performers !

Schedule still in flux but this is what it will roughly be:

Monday March 30th, open rehearsal / (audition time to be confirmed)
Mondays APRIL 6, 13, 20 & 27, May 4th --- 2-4 hours  (time to be confirmed)
Additional rehearsals scheduled as needed closer to May

About the work?
A site-specific performance influenced by the architecture of a building coupled with its historical components. I'm interested in the sound of the space, specifically shoes on the floor and how voice travels with movement. Working with a palate of minimalist human movements, a formalized approach will be used to articulate something about the vastness of the space and in return allowing the space to offer an experience of the private internal spaces within a single body. The performance will be viewed from above, in the shared space of performers or form the entrance ways, but will involve an immersive atmosphere which strays from that of the traditional theatrical staging. Collaboration with composer Christopher North will work with a string ensemble to create a sonic environment with upright bass.
