Susan Marshall & Company's SUMAC, is a unique six day workshop that empowers dancers and choreographers by providing the time, space, support, and encouragement needed to practice new approaches and tools for collaborating and creating.

Through choreographic and performance labs, tool box sessions, showings, guest lectures, and one-on-one conference time with Susan Marshall and company members, dancers and choreographers discover ways to come together as partners in the generation of work. 

Participants will:
Investigate choreographic process and performance skills
Develop creative tools and practice based on Susan Marshall & Company’s collaborative process
Create work with dancers and choreographers from NYC and across the globe
Play, learn, experiment and share in a supportive environment.
