501 (C)(3) REVERBdance is currently seeking to fill a spring internship position with the possibility to extend until fall with focus on producing three performances: The 10th Anniversary REVERBdance Festival, The Performance Lab at Steps on  Broadway, and REVERBdance Presents at the Infinito Gallery.  The internship will start immediately and will last until November 20th 2015.  The candidate will work closely with the director, Kate Griffler of REVERBdance and will obtain real hands on experience in all aspects of running a non-profit dance festival. Candidate must be responsible, dedicated and professional.- A plus to have a background in production, arts administration, or design experience including knowledge in Adobe illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Internship open to non-dancers. Must be available a minimum of 5-10 hours a week. Hours may increase during production weeks. 

The internship will cover the following:

-Social Media campaigns

-Marketing including online and print media

-Content writing

-choreographer and dance education research

-web maintenance

-general production work

Now in its tenth year, REVERB Festival has presented the work of 100 innovative dance makers to over 7000 audience members. Past participants include: Andrea Miller, Kyle Abraham, Jody Oberfelder, Stephen Pier, Gregory Dolbashian, Jonathan Riedel Nelly van Bommel, Sidra Bell,  and our most recent awardee, Mike Esperanza. Our performances have been held at the Manhattan Movement & Arts Center, Ailey CitiGroup Theater, Purchase College- SUNY and Baruch Performing Arts Center.
