REVERBdance, a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization, is currently seeking to fill a fall internship position with focus on assisting in The 10th Anniversary REVERBdance Festival!

The REVERBdance Festival has been acclaimed as a success every year since its inception. This year we are very excited to showcase many amazing choreographies from around the country and the world! A review of last year's production from Broadway Review can be found here. The mission of REVERBdance is to support upcoming choreographers and dancers by making carefully-curated productions of high-quality dance choreographies in the theaters of New York City. We have showcased many amazing choreographers in the past, including Andrea Miller, Kyle Abraham, Jody Oberfelder, Stephen Pier, Gregory Dolbashian, Jonathan Riedel Nelly van Bommel, Sidra Bell, and our most recent awardees, Mike Esperanza, Vanessa Van Wormer, and Tom Tsai.

This fall internship will start September 1st and will last until November 20th 2015. The candidate will work closely with the director, Kate Griffler of REVERBdance. He or she will obtain real hands-on experience in all aspects of production for a non-profit dance festival, including but not limited to securing venues, fundraising, marketing, networking, grant-writing, and accounting. He or she will also get to be a part of our amazing benefit event at the Infinito Gallery on September 12th as well as the Festival on November 6th, 7th, and 8th.

-> Candidate must be responsible, dedicated and professional.

-> He or she should be available on September 12th, Saturday to help out with our fundraising benefit for the Festival as well as November 2nd to November 8th to lend a hand to the 10th Anniversary REVERBdance Festival.

-> Good written and verbal skills a plus. Experience in grant-writing, production, arts administration, or design experience including knowledge in Adobe illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

-> Candidate is recommended to work a minimum of 5 hours a week. (Hours may increase during production weeks.)

-> Internship is open to non-dancers as well.

The internship will cover the following:

-Social Media campaigns

-Marketing including online and print media

-Content writing

-Back stage assistance

-General production work
