The TALL Council at Brooklyn Arts Exchange is very excited to announce that the application for Throughline 2016 is now available! 

Brooklyn Arts Exchange’s TALL (Teen Artists, Learners and  Leaders) Council in conjunction with Youth Education at BAX is seeking artists ages 15-25 for the Throughline showcase. Throughline is an interdisciplinary showcase catered towards a spectrum of youth artists to artists who are in the early stages of their career. This is a unique opportunity for performers (poets, dramatists, choreographers, videographers, etc.) and visual artists (photographers, painters, etc.) to share works-in-progress, participate in an artist talk back, receive audience feedback and network with fellow artists and art appreciators. Our goal as a council is to not only create spaces of creative expression for artists, but to also curate a cohesive and immersive event. As a council, we are interested in breaking conventional aesthetics, so we are looking to accept pieces that engage with both challenging content and form. This opportunity requires no application fee.
