Wavestorm Entertainment is casting for music video for the track “Nah Worry ‘bout Dem” from the upcoming album “Unconventional” by Andrew Phillip.

Song: “Nah Worry ‘bout Dem” from the upcoming album “Unconventional”

Synopsis: The video will take the form of a ballet company audition class. The main character is a black ballerina. At the audition, despite being very talented, she is cut from the audition because she doesn’t look the same as the other girls. About to leave the room, she changes her mind, and goes back, determined to let the company see how talented she is, determined to make sure that she is really seen by them. She dances a solo, set to the music of the song, to the admiration and applause of the other dancers in the room.

We are still casting for a few more dancers to play the roles of 'audtioning dancers':

Auditioning dancers: Female ballet dancers needed to attend the audition. The shoot will involve excerpts from a ballet class. Dancers should have strong ballet technique en pointe, and could be credible in a company audition for a major ballet company.

There is no compensation for this project. However we will provide film footage for anyone who requires it. If you are interested in this project please send a resume and photo, plus links to any footage you may have, to elizdoughty@gmail.com.
