Train with SITI Company in New York this winter!

The Winter Training Studio is a combined Suzuki and Viewpoints class for actors, directors, and other performing artists. Give yourself five weeks to grow as an artist through intensive, daily breath, voice, and movement work with SITI Company. This workshop is appropriate for both Level 1 (for artists with beginning or intermediate experience with the training) and Level 2 (for artists with intermediate or advanced experience with the training).

About the training: Developed by internationally acclaimed director Tadashi Suzuki and the Suzuki Company of Toga, the Suzuki Method seeks to heighten the actor’s emotional and physical power and commitment to each moment on the stage. The Viewpoints were first articulated by choreographer Mary Overlie who broke down the two dominant issues performers deal with - time and space - into six categories, the Six Viewpoints. Since that time, the SITI Company has expanded her original notions and adapted them for actors and theater ensembles. SITI Company is the preeminent center in the world for the study of these two methods of actor training.

Dates: This workshop runs from February 1 - March 4, 2016, Monday - Friday, 10:00am – 1:30 pm.

Deposit: $100 Deposit is due with the application. If you are not accepted to the workshop, this deposit is refunded in full. If you are accepted but choose not to attend, this deposit is non-refundable.

Full Tuition:  The cost of this workshop is $1,250, due before the first day of the workshop. (Pay by January 18 to receive a $50 early bird discount!). Payment plans are available on request.
