  The Origins...

 

The Choreographer’s Showcase is performance outlet that allows emerging choreographers to display their works with the world. In this day the competition grows stronger and we have to start creating paths for ourselves.  Being, an emerging choreographer and knowing the joys of watching your vision come to life on stage with lights, feeling the energy of your fellow dancers is a wonderful experienced .

 

This years Showcase will be May 28th, 2016

Located at 

2474 Westchester Ave

Bronx, NY 10452

 

Choreographers will be able to

-  present up to 10 mintues of choreography, in a live dance performance (if there are any set up/break down of props it must be included)

-each company will receive 20 min tech on the day of the event between 3pm-6:30pm

-marketing support

-an option to receive reviews from audience, and professionals in the dance field of your work

-Free video of the performance to use as you may.

-Contact Person Name, number, email, position

-Company/Group Name, Name of choreographer, name of dancers,

-Mission Statement, Motto, slogan (if applicable)

-Video link of work (reccommend sending work that you plan on performing at showcase)

-Description of work

 

Deadline to apply is April 10th, 2016 at 11:59pm

Acceptance Notification by April 17th, 2016

 

*ONCE ACCEPTED A $65.00 Production Fee will be collected no later than April 22th, 2016.. if you have any questions of concerns please feel free to email us.
