Natalie Johnson Dance looking for new company members!! June 25th

Natalie Johnson Dance is seeking at least 1 new company member and several apprentices/understudies who will regularly have a chance to perform.

No lies, we are an awesome emerging company full of super nice people.

When: 10am-1pm, June 25th

Where: Triskelion Arts, large studio

We are currently in the midst of creating an evening-length work in collaboration with an Italian composer, looking to premiere the work in NYC in October or November, with a chance of performing in Italy as well. The company will also be performing in Chicago in September.

All genders, races and identities welcome--we are looking for interesting and skilled dance artists who love contributing to the creatice process. Experience in modern and/or post-modern dance is especially recommended.

If you are interested in auditioning, please send an email to Artistic Director, Natalie Johnson, at natalie@nataliejohnsondance.com. Include any information/images/video you desire, no required materials. Instead of a cover letter, please answer the following questions:

1. Do you have a favorite dance company, or piece of repertory, and if so, why? We want to learn about your style and interests.

2. What is your ideal work environment? Let's see if we are a good fit.

3. If you could describe yourself (or anything about you, or whatever you want) in a tweet (140 characters or less), what would you write? You can be funny or serious, dealer's choice.

All are welcome to the audition, but having this information in advance will greatly improve your chances, as we will have time to learn about you first.

Please take the time to learn about the company by checking out our website: nataliejohnsondance.com

We sincerely look forward to hearing from you, and meeting you at the audition! Look, here's a cute bunny
