BE A PART OF DANCE AS ART- A COLLABORATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT!

Dance As Art- The New York City Photography Project is a protest, an exhibition and a street show designed to raise awareness of the need for the arts and artists in New York City and promote the incredibly talented dancers of New York City. Created by photographer Kevin Richardson, the project has received an incredible amount of press and followings on social media and I would like you to be a part of it! WHAT WE NEED:

Exceptionally talented individuals (male and female) in great shape with a very, very strong background in ballet or modern dance who aren't afraid to be in full dance attire in front of crowds anywhere in New York City!

First and foremost you get to be a part of a project that is really doing a lot to promote an awareness of dance and you get to inspire hundreds of thousands with your work and ability. You will also have access to:

Photographs For Auditions!

A professional location photoshoot at this calibre costs quite a lot to set up and execute and I cover all of the expenses myself as we do not have any outside funding for the project.  It is truly a labor of love and and all Dance As Art participants are allowed to use the their photographs privately for auditions as a way of saying thanks for being a part of the project's success. The idea behind Dance As Art  has always been to promote not just dance, but the dancers as well and so all photographs are always fully credited and everyone gets a biography on the site as I want the public to know exactly who you are! 

Free Professional Headshots!

As another way of saying thank you all Dance As Art participants can come in for our free headshot sessions (in studio and outdoors) with full hair and makeup services included- it's a lot of fun, you get to meet some of the other dancers and you get coached as well to look and be your best in front of the camera! (You can take a look at my headshot work here)
