Gaynor Minden Boutique Fitter

Gaynor MInden Logo

Gaynor Minden has an opening for a Pointe Shoe Fitter in our Chelsea Boutique.

You would be joining a dedicated team of dancers and ex-dancers who work together to provide outstanding customer service to a wide variety of ballerinas.  Duties range from conducting first-time pointe shoe fittings to engaging in in-depth consultations with some of the world's leading artists.

The open position is full-time, Sunday through Thursday.  This is our entry-level and provides an excellent entrée for a dancer interested in moving into the business side of ballet.  Many of our senior staffers started by working in our Boutique.

The succesful candidate will have:

• A strong ballet background, but not be actively auditioning

• Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail

• Strong people skills

Foreign languages (especially Spanish and Portuguese) and past retail experience are a plus.

Please submit your resume and cover letter to jobs@dancer.com
