Internship - Yoga + Education for Sex Trafficked Girls

What we are looking for:

An ambassador of together1heart, is working on a fundraising campaign called "The Empower Hearts Campaign" which is a sub-project of together1heart and focuses on fundraising to provide yoga therapy and English and Computer skills education for all 50 child survivors of sex trafficking at AFESIP's Tom Dy Center in Phnom Penh. The children range in age from 3 - 21 years old.

We are looking for interns to join our campaign, volunteering 12 hours per week. The work will be customized to your skill set but could include: social media strategy and implementation, outreach, research and organizing for fundraising events, video, graphic design and/or website production.

You:

Have your heart in the right place. Are super smart. Are sociable. Are organized and detail oriented. Want to give the gift of yoga healing as well as English and computer skills education to the amazingly courageous girls at the AFESIP center in Phnom Penh.

It is required to have a laptop computer you can bring each work session and that you are proficient in Microsoft Office programs and social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Please note that as a part of our protocol, all serious applicants will undergo a thorough background check for the safety of the girls in the care of AFESIP.

Hours:

Beginning ASAP through early March. Ideally Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2pm - 6pm in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Hours can be flexible.
