Calpulli Mexican Dance Company seeks Male and Female Dancers for paid performances during its Spring season both local and national.  Additional paid arts-in-education work and performances are available year-round.

Audition schedule and location:

NY City Center Studios in Manhattan, 130 W, 56th St. (b/t 6th and 7th Ave), NY, NY 10019

Sunday, January 15th, 2017 @ 1:30pm 

Studio is available at 1:00pm for warm up.

The entrance is on 56th St. Please do not enter via the NY CIty Center main entrance on 55th St.

The company seeks the following:

1. Men and Women with footwork experience, classical or contemporary training AND are interested in performing Mexican dances that range from folk to contemporary in style.

2. Men and Women with folk dance experience

3. Men and Women who have Mexican folk dance training and performance experience with fundamentals in ballet or contemporary movement

Auditioners should bring a headshot, resume and folklorico/ flamenco/ character shoes (something to tap and stomp). Women, rehearsal skirt is optional but will be used if you bring it.
