Announcing the Spring 2017 Nimbus Choreographic Residency and Curated Performance Opportunity!

Nimbus Dance Works will select 1 resident choreographer and 3 companies/choreographers to present in two produced performances at Nimbus' Studio/Theater in Downtown Jersey City on Sunday, April 2, 2017.  Each performance is followed by a post-show discussion with participating choreographers. 

The choreographic resident receives 15 hours of studio time for rehearsals and receives artistic and administrative feedback and guidance from Nimbus staff, company, and the Artistic Director Samuel Pott. The resident choreographer is required to sell 9 tickets to the performances. Choreographers selected for the produced performances are required to sell 6 tickets to the performances. (*Note: Available studio times are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings)

Selected choreographers receive a technical rehearsal on Saturday, April 1st.
