Dear dancers of New York City, this upcoming May 22nd 2017 don't miss the opportunity to see and study with Mrs. Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich ,from Spain. Iratxe will be the first teacher host of THE WORKSHOP SERIES in Brooklyn for an intensive week from May 22nd to May 27th. THE WORKSHOP SERIES is a new way to meet  great personality from the european contemporary dance scene and study with them for 6 days! Yeah , six days of workshop!!
About Iratxe, she danced with Nacho Duato in the Compañia Nacional de Danza Madrid, Spain. Iratxe has been a dancer for Nederlands Dance Theatre under Director Anders Hellstrom. She has worked with choreographers such as Nacho Duato, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Mats Ek, Jacopo Godani, Crystal Pite, Ohad Naharin, Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, to name a few.

Location is CHEZ BUSHICK ,in Brooklyn , in a great studio surrounded by the beautiful graffiti of BUSHWICK, 3 minutes from the subway. Easy to reach from Manhattan .

The idea of The Workshop is born from the concept of giving opportunity of a  professional dance training also into the Brooklyn/ Bushwick community . 

The range of young artists living in Brooklyn is hight, as well the percentage of people who has to travel into the city to study with high level teachers. It’s an ordinary routine for my self too.

My goal is to reach the community of contemporary dancers and bring  them to study in a new space with professional dance teachers from US and not.
