CBGDance presents The CBGDance Fall Festival 2017 from September 29th to October 1st 2017 at Access Theater in SoHo, NYC.

 

You are invited to submit your work to this exciting performance opportunity! After our first year of successfully producing two choreography festivals, CBGDance is back with it’s 3rd show, and for this one, we’re pulling out all the stops!  

 

C.B.G. stands for compassion, benevolence and grace, which are all at the core of our company’s mission. Our aim is to create more opportunities for choreographers to get their work seen by new people and have documentation (photos & videos) of their work for portfolios, applications and websites.

What Does Your Performance Fee Cover?

 

-Two performances of your piece in a theater in front of a live audience.

-Marketing materials & exposure: performance postcards, social media features, & publicity on ads and our website.

-Professional stage lighting by our lighting designer (1 lighting look that you design along with our lighting designer)

-Professional photographs and HD video footage of your piece in performance (this is a high priority for us).

 

If selected, your work will be presented in 1 evening performance and 1 matinee performance. Each performance will include an usher, stage manager, dressing rooms for the dancers, snacks & drinks for your dancers (included) and refreshments available for purchase for the audience.

 

Participation Requirements

 

-Proposed work must be a maximum of 12 minutes (longer pieces will not be accepted).

-You must be available and in New York City for the performance weekend, which is Friday September 29th through Sunday October 1st, 2017.

-You must be available and in New York City for one 30 minute technical and dress rehearsal slot with our lighting designer at Access Theater on either Friday 9/29 between the times of 10:00AM and 4:00PM or on Saturday 9/30 between the times of 9:00AM and 12:00PM.

-You must pay the non-refundable application processing fee of $15, and once accepted, the performance fee of $235 (your submitted application acts as your agreement of participation).

-You must submit your application + app fee by no later than Monday August 28th at 11:59PM (EST).
