Performance Artists Wanted for 25th LOCAL PRODUCE FESTIVAL of Performing Arts

Spoke the Hub Dancing, one of Brooklyn's oldest and finest dance and community arts organizations, will present its 25th annual LOCAL PRODUCE FESTIVAL of the ARTS on Saturday June 2 out on Union Street in Park Slope and under a bigtop tent all day long, as well as in Park Slope's most luscious community gardens throughout the month of June.

Performing artists* of all genres are invited to apply to present up to 5 minutes of work under the bigtop in a shared performance showcase (particularly seeking group works this year) or to create a site specific 45-120 minute work for a local green space of artist's choice.  Teaching and visual artists are also invited to pitch ideas for participatory workshops or community art projects to be held out on the street or in a garden.

(*Paid performance honorarium$ for all professional performing artists.)
