Service Volunteers Needed for special Symposium Dinner Event this SAT!

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Saturday, February 17th from 6:00 PM- midnight

The Future of Us - A Dinner Party

On February 17th Performance Space New York will host an invitation-only, seated dinner for 150 friends, organized by Angela Dimayuga and Gerardo Gonzalez, who are welcoming an indigenous cooking collective to help them prepare a sumptuous meal served within a symposium setting.

The guest list will be primarily artists, with a handful of board members and people from within the organizational family. Rather than have speeches from stakeholders, artists will speak about their hopes for Performance Space's future.

For this evening, we are looking for volunteers with food service experience and/or interest in performance to assist with the family-style meal service of this dinner. It is going to be a truly unique event that provides an intimate atmosphere to discuss the future of artistic work that will exist in our newly renovated theaters.

All volunteers will be provided a meal at the beginning of their shift. Guests will begin arriving at 8PM and service will be from 8-11 PM.

In addition, all volunteers will receive (1) complimentary ticket to any of the following performances in our East Village Series.

Yve Laris Cohen’s P.S.122 from March 8th-11th
Penny Arcade’s Bitch! Dyke! Faghag! Whore! from May 11th-19th
Chris Cochrane, Dennis Cooper, and Ishmael Houston-Jones’ THEM from June 21st-30th

If you’d like to volunteer for this event or have any interest in volunteering for Performance Space New York in the future, please email kedian@performancespacenewyork.org
