A Lady in the House Co. (Aristic Director: Nubian Néné) and Quilan Cue Arnold are looking for dancers (18-40) with performance prowess, improvisational skills, and strong training in hip-hop and contemporary dance styles. Dancers who have special skills— acrobatics, theatrical skills— are encouraged to attend. The audition is open to all professional dancers. Debut is in August (4th & 5th) for the INSITU Site-Specific Dance Festival 2018. This is a non-paid gig with potential for a small stipend (fundraising will be a part of the process).

Age: 18 - 40

Note: Quilan is specifically seeking movers of color for a work about African-American slaves.

Audition Dates:

Day 1: April 23rd 2018 (repertoire 2 hours/choreographer)

Day 2: April 24th 2018 (callbacks- repertoire/improvisation (2 hours / choreographer) (release form (will be provided) needed for 2nd day audition)

10 am- 2 pm (Day 1)

10 am - 12 pm (Day 2 Quilan)

1 pm - 3 pm (Day 2 Nubian Néné)
