Freelance Emerging Choreographer, Talissa Bavaresco, is looking for 4-5 Technique Trained Contemporary Dancers to join the cast of her new work, "Calyx". Starts Immediately. 

The piece has presented excerpts at NACHMO NYC at the Mark O'Donnell Theater at the Actors Fund, and at the Martha Graham Studio Theater. The full work will preview on May 26th (at an in-studio showing) and premier on JUNE 27TH AT DIXON PLACE'S '8 IN SHOW'.

The work is 90% so choreographed, so rehearsals would consist in restaging the piece and finilizing it with the new members. Rehearsals are very limited and mostly held on Saturdays Afternoons. Dates up to the May preview are:

Tuesday - April 3rd: 8-9pm
Saturday - April 28th: 4-5pm
Saturday - May 12th: 4-6pm
Saturday - May 19th: 4-6pm

(Rehearsal availability is flexible. Extra Rehearsals may be added as it gets closer to the performance)

This project does not offer compensation, but you will get a copy of all photos and videos from the performance, credits at ww.talissabavaresco.com and possible future performance opportunities (which may provide compensation). A promotional photoshoot is also being arranged and you will get copy of those photos as well.
