Gramercy Pilates NYC, the premier Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training School in New York City is offering WorkStudy opportunities for students wishing to become Pilates Teachers. The Workstudy Program offers an opportunity to become a fully certified Pilates Teacher while doing front desk duties at the studio

The Best Pilates Teache Training Program

Our Comprehensive Progam, which is based on anatomy and kinesiology, includes both Mat and Equipment Classical and Contemporary repertoire , advanced teaching methods and information typically found in Special Population/Injury/Rehab Continuting Education Courses. We offer high educational standards and many hours of in-depth lecture teaching courses as well as Program Director supervised teaching. In addition there are student teaching assessments/evaluations to prepare you to work with any type of client. Upon graduating from our Program you will be able to apply to take the PMA Certification Test to become a PIlates Method Alliance (PMA) Certified Teacher.

 Work Study Responsibilites

Your resposibilities at the front desk include meeting and greeting clients coming into the studio and checking them into their Pilates sessions, scheduling clients into sesssions, answering emails and phone messages and small cleaning duties

Work Study Schedule

You will need to be available during weekday afternoons from 12pm to 4pm and on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Reguired Hours to take the Program

The Work Study Program for Mat and Equipment is as follows: 

To take the Mat Program- You Work- 200 hours at the front desk.

To take the Equipment Program- You Work 700 hours at the front desk.

Total for both-900 Work Study Hours which allows you to take our Advanced Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program. ( You may also decide to pay for part of the Program to reduce your work hours).

You have up to one full year to complete the Program and Work Study hours.

You may apply to do both Programs for WorkStudy or just one.
