Dancers for Immersive Theater Show

**Submissions close Saturday, 9/22.  We will contact dancers for auditions by appointment by the following Saturday, 9/29. Please carefully review the submission instructions.**

Sinking Ship Creations is casting dancers for The Mortality Machine, an immersive theatre show that combines site specific dance with live-action roleplay (larp).

Commitment

Tech & Performance weeks: Dancers will work evenings (6:00 PM call time) Tuesday through Sunday from January 8th to February 3rd. All performances are in Manhattan.

Rehearsals: Dancers will have 7 - 10 rehearsals in November - the first week of January. We do not plan to conflict with the weekend of Thanksgiving or the last week of December.

Submission Instructions

Please email the following to themortalitymachine@sinkingshipcreations.com:

-Resume

-Dance Video: 2 minutes (or less) featuring contemporary. Including other styles is welcome but not necessary.

-Acting Video: 2 minutes (or less) performing a modern monologue (non-comedic).

-Correspondance: Include the word "Dancer" in the subject of your email. Detail your availability in the body of the email. Please also indicate if you have immersive theater experience and/or if you have ever engaged in live-action roleplaying (larp).

Compensation

$2,500 - $2,700. The total is variable based on how many hours of rehearsal we require.
