Dancers for improvisational research and experimental film

logo

Choreographer and Filmmaker seeking two dancers (1 contemporary and 1 freestyle dancer) to improvise with set visualizations and to provide insightful and intuitive feedback into the experience.

The research process will lead to an experimental short film that explores the effect of perception on evolution and will include animation and vfx.  The short film will go to festivals and will serve as a prototype for future research and feature films.  Currently in experimental phase will be an invigorating and thought-provoking experience.  Rehearsal and conversations will be video recorded.

Depending on the outcome of the experiment dancers may be asked to perform in the film.

Looking to schedule for 2 hours this week and will coordinate with all involved.

Please send headshot, video, statement of interest and availability to anji@aplusproductionsnyc.com
