URBAN / TRIBE is a company striving to provide inclusive opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds; to come together to build artistic works through a dance theater perspective.

URBAN / TRIBE has been invited to present work at Bryant Park this summer on July 5th. We are looking particularly for male identifying dancers for the upcoming performance, but will be auditioning female identifying dancers for other performance and project opportunities. Rehearsals primarily occur on Tuesday and Friday evenings.

But wait, there are more opportunities! The company has several upcoming projects for 2019 & 2020.  Artistic Director, Mathew James, is seeking to engage a large group of movement artists from diverse backgrounds with strong theatrical presence and hyper-physical sensibility. 

Submit an inquiry of interest  to audition for the company by emaiing a resume, headshot, and any relevant video material to urbantribedance.co@gmail.com. 

An audition will be held on May 24th/May 25th. Details on location and time will be disseminated upon receipt of audition materials.

Sundays 1pm - 2:30pm
