Accent Dance NYC is seeking teaching artists qualified through one of the following dance education models: National Dance Institute, Arnold Graduate Dance Program, Dance Education Essentials. Other models similar in content and structure are welcome for consideration. 

Teaching artists must have experience teaching in public school settings, other than private dance settings. Candidates must submit evidence of their teaching experience, along with supporting materials, such as a CV and/or recommendation letters by professionals in the field of dance education. Candidates should be articulate in delivering instructions and effective in strategies to command the attention of the students.

Teaching artists will be engaged in a dance residency at Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education in the South Bronx through June 19, 2020. Teaching sessions occur on Mondays from 3PM to 5:45PM. Payment per teaching hour is $60.00.
